Cambridge Angels is a leading UK business angel network providing smart capital from entrepreneurs to entrepreneurs.

We are a Cambridge-based group, actively mentoring and investing in innovative teams and their ideas. Membership is capped at 60, alongside several corporate members from Venture Capital. We hold a wide range of events to foster deal-sharing, collaboration and syndication amongst our membership. 

We look to maintain a membership where at least 75% are exited entrepreneurs as we realise that prior experience as well as funding can help equip entrepreneurs to generate returns and realise their full potential. We are also constantly looking to increase the diversity within our membership group.

Our members invest in a wide range of start-up and scale-up businesses with a particular focus on science and engineering-based companies, and tools and technologies supporting healthcare. We invest in UK registered companies, but we are not limited to investing only in entrepreneurs from the Cambridge ecosystem. A constant in our approach is that Cambridge Angels does not charge founders to pitch to our membership nor take success fees. Members pay an annual fee to support our pitching events and we also raise sponsorship for events that help the wider start-up and investment ecosystem.

Cambridge Angels has been investing since 2001, supporting more than 150 companies in their growth journeys. Through our members and their networks, our entrepreneurs are better connected.
